Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 20 November 2025

At Mindful Steph Center for DBT Therapy & Training, operated by Esteban López Castelo & Stephanie Romero Ponticelli, we are committed to ensuring that our website — Mindful Steph DBT Center (https://mindfulstephdbtcenter.com) — is accessible and usable for all individuals, including people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible website allows visitors with disabilities to navigate, understand, and interact with the site with the same or similar ease and enjoyment as any other visitor. Accessibility is achieved through:

  • The capabilities of the system and device used

  • The user’s assistive technologies (such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification tools, voice recognition software, etc.)

Our goal is to offer an accessible digital experience for all users.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content

Some pages or content elements may rely on third-party platforms or widgets (e.g., embedded scheduling systems, payment processors, or external media). As these elements are not fully controlled by our organization, certain accessibility features may vary.

Should any part of our site rely on such third-party content, we declare partial compliance for those specific pages.

Accessibility arrangements in the organization

Mindful Steph Center for DBT Therapy & Training currently operates primarily online, providing virtual therapy, neuropsychological assessments, and training programs.

For in-person appointments (if applicable in the future), accessibility information will be updated and communicated clearly to all clients.

Requests, issues, and suggestions

We welcome feedback. If you experience any accessibility issues, encounter barriers, need help navigating our website, or have suggestions to improve accessibility, please contact our accessibility coordinator:

We aim to respond to accessibility-related requests as quickly as possible.

We follow the WCAG 2.1 Guidelines and aim for Level AA compliance.

To support accessibility, we have implemented the following measures (as applicable):

  • Used accessibility tools to identify and correct potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language for all pages of the site

  • Ensured consistent and logical content order

  • Structured all pages with clear headings

  • Added alternative text for images wherever appropriate

  • Ensured color combinations meet required contrast standards

  • Reduced or removed unnecessary motion and animations

  • Ensured videos, audio materials, and downloadable files are accessible where possible

  • Designed navigation and page layouts for keyboard accessibility

We are continually working to improve our site’s accessibility as technologies, standards, and needs evolve.
