At Mindful Steph Center for DBT Therapy & Training, we aim to provide transparent and fair guidelines regarding payments and refunds. Due to the nature of our services—which include psychotherapy sessions, DBT programs, neuropsychological assessments, workshops, and professional training—all payments for scheduled services are non-refundable once the service has been delivered.
For individual therapy sessions and neuropsychological assessments, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance; late cancellations or missed appointments are fully charged and not eligible for refund, unless the situation qualifies as an emergency (such as unexpected loss of electricity, internet failure, or serious unforeseen events), which will be reviewed at the clinician’s discretion.
For programs, workshops, and trainings paid upfront or in instalments, refunds are not issued after the program has begun, although clients may request to pause or reschedule participation when possible. If an error occurs in billing or if a payment was made by mistake, clients may contact us within 7 days to request a review.
