Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) offers a life-changing approach for neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, ADHD, anxiety disorders, PTSD, depression, BPD and emotional dysregulation. Traditional therapy often overlooks the unique ways neurodivergent minds experience emotions, relationships, and daily stress. DBT provides practical tools for emotional balance, self-acceptance, and genuine connection, helping clients build a life that feels authentic and manageable.

Research shows that Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) offers major benefits for neurodivergent and/or highly dysregulated individuals, improving emotion regulation, quality of life, and symptom reduction. Meta-analyses report that DBT can reduce ADHD symptoms by about 50%, enhance well-being by 40%, and lessen emotional distress in Autism (ASD), BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), PTSD (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder), anxiety, and depression.

Welcome to our DBT Center!

After years of going to talk therapy, and working with a few different therapists, I found that I finally felt I was actually getting somewhere after I started seeing Stephanie for DBT. Stephanie is warm, supportive and encouraging, maintains a high level of professionalism, and is frank and forthcoming when she needs to be, which is something I really value and appreciate. In our one to one sessions the learning is always contextualised within my experiences or feelings and the understanding I've developed about myself as a result has helped me in all my relationships, including and perhaps especially in my relationship with myself. The work that I'm doing with Stephanie makes me feel hopeful and confident that things are getting - and will continue to get - better, and the positive changes in me have been noticed by family and friends. I feel more calm, more confident, and more capable of living a meaningful, enjoyable life.
