Cancellation Policy
1. Booking Policy All neuropsychological assessments must be scheduled through the online scheduling system at least 24 hours in advance. Assessment sessions are 60 minutes long and cannot be shortened, extended, or modified. A booking is considered confirmed only once you receive the automated confirmation email from the scheduling system. Clients are encouraged to schedule promptly, as assessment slots are limited and fill quickly. 2. Payment Policy Payment is due before the appointment, specifically at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled assessment, unless a pre-approved payment plan is already in place. Missed assessments and late cancellations will be charged in full (see cancellation policy). Failure to complete payment may result in the session being released to another client or postponed. 3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy The cancellation policy for neuropsychological assessments is identical to the policy used for individual therapy sessions. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an assessment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full assessment fee. Missed appointments (“no-shows”) are also charged in full. Exceptions may be made only for genuine emergencies, including: sudden illness accidents unexpected hospitalization loss of internet/WiFi or electricity These exceptions are granted at the therapist’s discretion and may require a brief explanation. Rationale: Assessment appointments involve preparation, scoring time, and limited availability. Late cancellations prevent others from accessing essential services. 4. Late Arrival Policy If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the appointment may be considered a no-show and charged in full. A shortened assessment resulting from late arrival may impact the comprehensiveness and validity of results. 5. Waitlist Policy When neuropsychological assessment slots are full: You may request to be added to a waitlist. You will be contacted in order of request when an appointment becomes available. You will have 24 hours to accept an offered slot before it is offered to the next person. Declining a one-time or temporary opening does not affect your position on the waitlist. Priority may be given to: Clients requiring assessment for ongoing psychotherapy Clients referred for diagnostic clarification related to ADHD, autism, PTSD
